Current marketplace status
Checkout currently runs in test mode only: no real money is charged and no real refunds or seller payouts are made. Cancellations before shipment trigger a full refund through the payment provider; seller payouts are handled manually by the marketplace.
Information used by the marketplace
MerchTrade uses account information such as email, sign-in credentials and an optional display name to provide access to your account. If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides the account information needed for sign-in.
Profiles can contain a display name, username, bio and location. Listings contain item and event details, prices, shipping descriptions, uploaded photos and any authenticity evidence you submit. The marketplace also stores favorites, offers, seller messages, saved searches, wanted posts and listing reports.
Payments are processed by our payment provider. Card details are entered with the provider and are never stored by the marketplace. For orders, the marketplace stores the item, amounts, payment status, shipping name and address, and tracking details, which are visible to the buyer and seller of that order.
Why information is used
Information is used to provide accounts, publish and search listings, manage saved items and searches, exchange messages and offers, and receive reports. Do not include sensitive personal information in public descriptions, photos or authenticity evidence.
Who can see information
Published listings, their photos and wanted posts are publicly accessible. Profiles are accessible to signed-in members; seller names may appear alongside listings. Draft listings are restricted to their owner.
Messages and offers are accessible to their participants. Favorites and saved searches are restricted to their owner. Reports are readable through the app by the user who submitted them. Authorized service operators may access information as necessary to operate and protect the marketplace; do not treat private messages as end-to-end encrypted.
Services, storage and technical information
Lovable Cloud provides account, database and photo-storage services. Google is involved if you choose Google sign-in. Site fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives the technical information needed to serve those requests.
Your browser stores sign-in session information to keep you signed in. Technical error information, including the page and error context, may be sent through Lovable’s error-reporting tools to diagnose failures. This notice does not promise a specific diagnostic retention period or tracking configuration that has not been confirmed.
Your choices and rights
You can edit profile and listing information, remove favorites and saved searches, and sign out using the existing account controls. Self-service account deletion and data export are not currently available.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, or to object to certain uses. Requests require a configured privacy contact. This policy does not limit rights available under law.
Owner details and retention — configuration required
Owner configuration required: the legal operator’s identity, applicable jurisdiction, privacy contact and specific retention periods have not been supplied. No business address or email address is invented here. This notice describes current site behavior and needs owner and legal review before payment features launch.
No fixed retention or automatic deletion schedule is promised. The owner must confirm retention requirements and how privacy requests will be handled, including any information that must be retained by law.

For item questions, use Message seller on a non-sample listing after signing in. Use Report listing for suspected counterfeit or misleading listings; this submits a listing report, not an order cancellation or refund request.
